Almost at the end! Woo hoo!

Woo hoo! I am almost finished with my third essay and have some glitches on my html web page! Then I will be almost finished with my first two classes! I can't believe how much time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday the semester started and now in about a week, it will be over. It's been fun, but I am ready for a little break. I hope to catch up on some reading. Well, I'll be off.

Hello. Anyone else finding that the Courseweb is slow to load this evening? It has been slow all evening. Well, gotta run to get working on my research. Later.

Web Page Design

Wow, so I have been on google page creator getting my web page together and wow. I published what I have thus far and sent it out for feedback. Hopefully, there will be no major changes and then I can send it to my prof. Good grief. Now time to start on my last essay.

Catching up

Okay so I seriously need to catch up on this. I just finished the mandatory on campus orientation/classes in Pittsburgh. I had a wonderful time getting to know everyone. It is so nice to be able to put a face with a name online. Before there were just names, now I can actually picture who I am talking to. I truly enjoyed my time in class even though I was battling a cold, but the hot topic presentations were really interesting. They were all fantastic and if someone asked me what my favorite was, I would have to say, all of them. I enjoyed the classes, however, I was a bit intimidated with all the lap tops. I only wish I had some extra funds to get one. They seem to be very convenient. I just joined the Facebook group and was actually having fun checking it out. Okay so I was really procrastinating on all the reading that I need to do before starting this last essay. I hope that we can all still keep in touch even after we finish at PITT and maybe even have little reunions in Pittsburgh!! All right, enough procrastination. Later! :)

Okay, so I am playing around with my Jing presentation. I was able to get it embedded on my blog, however, it is huge and I am not so sure as to how to change it. Oh well, I am moving on to this thoreau assignment. I am going to play with KompoZer and see what happens.

Assignments?Grades?

So what is up with not hearing anything about the assignments completed thus far. There has been nothing. I don't get it? Why? This is discouraging. If someone out there knows what is going on, please spread the word. Thanks. Angela

Hello, not much to report except my pending trip to Pittsburgh on Friday. I am pretty much ready, I am just a bit nervous about going to classes though, due to the fact that most of the cohort work in a Library and know more than I do. I'm still trying to figure out how I am going to get to Oakland on Saturday. Hmm. I hope to know by Friday night. Well, gotta go get some more reading done until chat time. Later.

Wow, I just tried to copy/paste my Koha URL into my blog. Then I went to a new tab, copied/pasted my URL and holy, moly, I can't believe it worked. God help me. Sorry if I don't know how to "embed" but this works. Hope you like!

Procrastinating

Okay, so yes, I am procrastinating and not working on the Koha assignment. I tried working on it yesterday and kept hitting one stumbling block after another. I have tried emailing a bunch of people, and no response. I have even tried emailing the professor, as usual, no response. Hmmm. I'm not sure what I am going to do about this assignment as I don't know how to proceed. If anyone out there who has gotten my emails could please respond, I'd appreciate it.
